Video Conferencing suggestions...? I want to setup a video conference system for two meeting rooms. Each would hold up to 23 people. It will be used across a dedicated WAN connection, I would like to limit the bandwidth for video from 256k to 384k max. We can use our phones for voice, Or if there is a system that does two way communication with hands free that's ok as well. We would utilize two large 25in TV's for the monitors (Composite or SVideo.) Is anyone using products that support this setup now? And what would the costs be? Thank you... |

384 should be fine. You dont want to use a seperate system for the audio. Most units will allow you to connect an analog line to the unit to add audio bridges to your video call so that participants at non video locations can listen. Your going to have to consider mics for the participants as well as the presenter and depending on the dimesions of the room your receive audio as well. Go to www.polycom.com A vsx7000 would suit your needs.
Looking for a free system to hold video conferencing, at first for small number of person possibly 6. will eventually need to accomodate a much larger call in factor.
What company is best for video conferencing? do you find it easy to use and clear?
